My PD is May 16th. Yup, I need a 5 weeks movement.

We tried calling NVC today, more than 50 times... and it was busy the whole time...

I'm always hoping for the best even though I get disappointed and depressed every month with each VB release.

F2A retrogressed last year just when we were waiting for the IL..

Anyways, we are almost there! We just need an extra bit of patience.

Will let you know if we get any news! Who knows? right?! :)

Yes Dear....Same...feeling same as urs. Everytime...when scheduling starts, i used to feel not to expect anything but eventually expectation arises n leads to disappointments with release of VB. Mine is 24 May...looking forward for the best. We all have already waited soooooo long even after CC due to stupid Retro but now its nt much far...we all are about to finish this nightmare of waiting...good luck n if u call nvc,plz update here too.

hi all,

I have a question, my husband and I have been married for 1 year and 9 months now, and based on how things are moving we might get our interview in march (Hopefully). would he get a 10 yrs green card even if we go to our interview in march (2 years anniversary is april 3rd) or the time is determine when he sets foot in the US which most likely will be after our two year anniversary.

We are on the same situation...

It's my understanding that if you have been married for less than 2 years you will get a temporal green card, if not you will get the permanent one for 10 years. It doesn't matter if your spouse hasn't been living in the US for that long, it only depends on the time you have been married when your GC gets approved (I think at the moment of the interview).

I think its connected with ur POE....if u go to US after ur anniversary...green card will b issued for the date you entered US for the first time.

If on date of aprroved of your USCIS case you are married less than 2 years, you will get conditional green card for 2 years

I'm asking because i have read some case here of people who go to the interview before their two year anniversary but enter the US after after their anniversary and get a 10 year green card. Also the experation date on the green card it's the date they entered the US not the date they went to the interview.
