I was just looking through the G-325A example form.... On the part at the bottom of the form where it says "This form is submitted in connection with application with: Naturalization, Status as Permanent Residence or Other (specify)". Well....I dont know if its me, or has the example form changed from "other" to "naturalization". Now i'm not sure what one i'm supposed to check in conjunction with the I-129F petition.

Please help my Visa fried mind

Oh...also, I am sending all my paper work off to my Fiance tomorrow. So, I just wanna check if you think what I have done is okay.

Do I need bank statements to show that I have paid for the flights? I have loads of ATM receipts that show i was in Louisiana...do you think I need to use them as well for evidence of having met within the last two years, as they prove i was there?

The first time I went to America to meet my Fiance (that i origionally met online)...I didnt just go to meet him, so I only spent 2 days with him. I also didnt visit America from England...I went via Belgium as I was going to America with my Belgian friend. It also details that I didnt pay for this flight, so havent got any paper work for it, except itinerarys. Anyway....I have written a paragraph explaining this and a few other things. Please let me know if its too much information.

(I have loads of evidence for the second time i visited him as i was there for 2 months and collected receipts etc...but not so much for the first as i didnt go to America just to meet him)

I first went to America with my friend An Van den Broeck, from Belgium. I met An online and met her face to face in November 2005, when she came to England. She had already booked her ticket to America when I decided I would like to go, giving me the opportunity to meet Chris. Not wanting to fly alone, An contacted Delta reservations and booked me a round trip ticket from Brussels, Belgium to San Jose, California. An booked and paid for my ticket straight away so I didn’t lose my seat. My mother paid for my ticket, so transferred the amount for the ticket to An’s bank account in Belgium. I travelled to France on a ferry across the English Channel and An then collected me from the Port, Calais. Part of our trip to America was to attend a Yahoo Chat room meet. A group of us met in Omaha, Nebraska for the weekend of 12th, 13th and 14th August 2006. An’s girlfriend lives in Mountain View, California, so we flew there and then road tripped through western and central America. On our way to the chat room meet, we travelled down through California, making our way to Louisiana, where I was to meet up with Chris. Sadly, due to the trips schedule, we could only stay in Louisiana for two and a half days. However, this time gave us the opportunity to get to know each other further and as a result our relationship has continued to develop. I then carried on with my trip, travelling through Tennessee, Nebraska, Wyoming and back to California, continually keeping in contact with Chris.

Thanks!

Check the 'other' box and type in K-1 visa. Follow the guide for what you need to send with the I-129. I just sent what was recommended in the guide and had no problems at all. Good luck!

If you have any pictures of the two of you together I would recommend sending copies of those as well for evidence, Copies of Itineraries or boarding passes are also good. Emails that you have exchanged. Those sorts of things are all good to include.

I'm just worrying that they wont understand why I went to America the first time...as it wasnt just to meet my fiance. I wrote that paragraph (shown on my first post) to put with my evidence...to explain everything....i just dont know if i need it or not? or if its too detailed?

Thanks for you help so far guys....its really helpful!

For evidence of proof of meeting in the last two years, read below this is an excerpt from an RFE sent by the USCIS. Read what is in BOLD.... This is information they DO NOT want to see.

LAST MEETING: the petitioner and the beneficiary must have met in person between October 17, 2004 and October 16, 2006. Submit evidence of meeting the beneficiary in person within the two-year period preceding the filing of the petition. The primary evidence may include copies of passport pages that show the identification page and admission stamps, military orders, letters from Commanding Officer, or any evidence that will help the Service to determine that the petitioner has met the beneficiary within the two years. The secondary evidence may be airline ticket stubs and receipts (that indicate month, day and year), ATM and credit card transactions, flight itinerary on airline/travel agency letterhead, etc. NOTE: secondary evidence is used to support any primary evidence that has been submitted. The following DOES NOT constitute evidence of meeting: disc, videos, emails, letters, phone bills, and greeting cards.

YMMV
