I-129F, G-325A must be originals. Everything else can be a copy. UScitizen's birth certificate, divorce or death decree can be copies.

"cough""cough" ummm guys let me take this one. First post here, but I've been browsing for a while. Just sent out my I-129F today so I think I'm now qualified to answer a question here or there. Gonna start a Feb filers thread, sent it out Feb 1st 8:32am CST. Anyone beat that for Feb?

Copies of everything except: And the photocopies have to be EXACT photocopies. Don't enlarge them.

You need original (ink) signatures on both the letters of intent to marry and both of the G-325a's. You can copy the forms, you just need original signatures on them.

And of course original passport photos and original photos showing the two of you together.

Anything you give them you will never get back so don't send your original birth cert, passport, etc...

Well, you could start by answering the question. Many people include a short answer there, then a longer narrative with lots of details on a separate page (you can type "see attached" in the box if you wish).

MAKE SURE you follow the directions about clearly identifying addendums with the item number, signing, and dating the top though. That's an explicit requirement.

Say that you met on x and x date, how you met, how frequently you've seen each other, where, etc. Think of it as the story that goes along with you evidence - the narrative to your boarding passes, tickets, passport stamps, etc.
