Filling Out Forms

Hi everyone I'm the USC and my husband is from the UK. I'm currently filling out all our paperwork and a have a small question. I'm pretty much the main person literally filling it all out. I know some forms are for me to fill out and some are for him to fill out. On the forms he is supposed to fill out, such as I-485, is it ok for me to actually fill it in and then for him to sign? And then can I sign the line under his signature saying I prepared this at the permission of such and such yada yada?

Yes, I think you can fill it out and then sign, that you prepared the form, but he needs to sign for sure.

We typed in all of our forms and then signed them....that way its hard to tell who filled them in, we did it with all of our forms.

The only form that should come from you is the I-864.

Everything else should be prepared 'as if' they're coming from your husband. I completed the forms with David's input.... he signed them. No big deal.

I was the one filling out all the forms on the computer, including my father-in-law's affidavit. Then we all signed the forms.

Same here. I did all the work and Darcy just what he needed to sign.
