i can't believe the day has actually arrived. i've daydreamed about my drive to chicago now for the past year...about the moment i see him step through those doors. amazingly i slept really well last night - maybe subconsously my body knew it was the last night with the bed all to itself!

i'm all jittery and happy. yesterday i hammered a new nail in the door for his robe and set the slippers i got for him next to mine. i cleared out the bathroom cabinet and tried to cram my things into half the space (ok, i'm a little over the half way mark, but how much stuff can he really have right?) and i hung some empty hangers in the closet. ahhhhh! i can't believe its for real!

good thing we live across the street from a thrift store - a nice warm winter coat for him is first on the agenda. well, maybe not first... :blush:

anyways...just wanted to let you all know that he's on his way.

good luck to everyone waiting, and everyone navigatating through the challenging exciting and nerveracking steps of new lives together.

02/15/06 Case complete (thank you James Shortcuts- only 6 weeks!)

04/19/06 tired of waiting, filed k-3 #2 ( petition is still lost in oblivion)

Infopass appointment December 18, 2007. Received stamp in passport and completed Biometrics

I-751 APPROVED 29 February 2008. Green card received 8 March 2008

N-400

Mailed December 12, 2008

NOA received December 23, 2008

Biometrics completed January 21, 2009[

CITZENSHIP GRANTED MAY 15, 2009

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
