As many people before, I notice on CEAC site that AOS fee has changed from Paid to N/A; so I called NVC and my mom's case was completed today in the early morning. :joy:

Hi guys

I have quick question

I petition my mom on april 9 2015 after long wait they just transfer her case to local office ( i checked her statueonline) didnt ask me for anything yet

My question im supposed to traver out of tge country for amonth

what happend if i dont send them the required papers until i am back ???

Yould they cancel my case ???

Required papers by NVC? They give you a year to send your papers. If you get an RFE from USCIS, they usually give you at least a month to respond, normally more like 2 or 3, if it involves getting foreign paperwork.

Hi gennyangel congratulations do they send u notice to tell that was approved (befoe submitting form i864 or after) bcz i applied for my mother

Case was transferred on 08/21/15 to california center and still nothing happened yet

Hi Zineb,

Yes, i got a noticed in the mail last September 11, I-797 that my petition has been approved (Aug.28). I was very surprised and double checked it through USCIS website and my petition was approved Aug. 28. I checked USCIS website today and it said as of September 10, they sent the petition to Department of State for visa processing. I am very ecstatic and my mom is very excited.

I have a friend in Washington, she sent her petition last february and it took 5 months for her to be approved. So i was kind of expecting mine to be approved in December. I wasn't checking the website until i got the notice in the mail.
