Aside from the required list of documents, did the USCIS ask for any additional proof? I read one poster that says mom was asked to supply all original documents including death certificate if widow and police clearances from countries she stayed longer than 6 months. Any idea?

yes, they will asked if you dont send everything they need. so better read all the required documents before sending it. or else you will wait aother 60 days if you get a checklist. i didnt get one so my petition was quick.

How long does nvc email for an interview and also how many weeks before interview.. Do u know ? Thanks sis

you're usually given about a month notice (so you're looking at late april, or early may interview date)

you're notified based on when NVC is scheduling ( usually last or first week of the month) you'll most likely get the interview date by second week of April. If you're anxious call NVC late next week

Heey guys, i have a quick ? Please help out...my mom is having interview on my 11th and from the nvc list what she has to bring it says she has to bring new police certificate, but we have submitted originals 2 months ago... and also they want copies of all civil documents... AND on the list that they forwaded to embassy it shows that the court records were not requested (but i sent them originals).. and also police certificate it shows nvc fwd to embassy... do we need new ones... confusing waste of money but im scares to risk it... and also at the bottom they are requesting BIH court certificates... what kind of court certificates... do they mean all of them again like birth certificate and stuff or..

Please clarify.
