The NVC's phone system has been fu**ed up since the 23rd and I am not able to get thru Roll on Monday!!!

Told to wait 35 days also, but then they also said it can take additional 42 days to enter into the system and generate a case number.

Phones are down today, I think Obama is giving government employees off today, I could be wrong.

Anyway I will start calling week after next.

You guys might want to check out a redial app for your smart phones, it has come in handy for me when calling NVC.

That's what they tell everybody, they even say it should be written in our NOA2. But I am sure that next week they will have everybody's number by next week when they get back to work.

I got my case number on the 23rd. When I check, it still says at NVC, so I guess it might take a couple of days to leave for montreal...

Im approved and my case has been sent to my consulate.What does that mean?

That's what they tell everybody, they even say it should be written in our NOA2. But I am sure that next week they will have everybody's number by next week when they get back to work.

That means it's time to start getting ready for medical and the interview! Wait for them to send you the next packet. The petitioner will need to do AOS too if requested.

Well in this case AOS is an Affidavit of Support, so the only thing you need to do is have a copy of one signed and sent to your fiancee. When we first put our k1 packet together, we were in Morocco. I didn't want to take the chance of something getting lost in the mail at a later date. I simply printed one out and signed a blank form. If and when the embassy asks for it, my fiancee will already have one with my signature on it. I can just send him a PDF file of the blanks filled in for the rest of the form.

I believe so. Casablanca is saying you no longer need the originals of certain documents. Probably considering how difficult it is to get originals to one another. The same rules may now apply to your case.

That sounds great will contact the embassy on Monday to check if scanned docs are accepted.

Was approved dec 4th and now I'm playing the waiting game...this sucks! Haven't called in a week (pure torture) I will call Monday. Good luck everyone!
