Ayla, everyone,

You should ways carry any papers with personal information of any kind, along with any valuables and electronics in your carry on. The baggage that's checked is opened at multiple points along the way and you don't know who will be touching your things, including, if you leave the papers in there, your identity. It may weigh you down a bit more, but nothing will be as bad as having your valuables stolen or your bank accounts emptied.

Congrats and safe travels!!!

You are so right! I don't know why I didn't think of that! Lol.

Thank you!

Feb.23,2018: Mailed I-751 to CSC

Mar. 21, 2018: Received NOA

April.6,2018: Received extension letter

April.24,2018: Waived Biometrics

I was approved on 4/16 and have been in AP since last Friday, 4/24. I'm at work trying to hold back tears today. I don't know how much more I can take without a full blown out melt down. I planned my wedding for 5/23 and now don't even know if my groom will be here in time. Congressman has been contacted already and then sent him a response saying that it was approved and that if we don't hear back from them within 2 or 3 weeks to contact them again. So, tired of the waiting game. Really don't know how much more I can take. Just praying my God is hearing my cries and trying to keep the faith.

Hang in there all are still out there waiting on approvals and final arrivals of your loved ones.

(F)

Ya'll our AOS thread was merged with the people who applied for AOS in June 14. Shaking my head at you admins! Read the damn content, seriously.

Anyways, it is now here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/498728-june-2014-aos-filers/page-58. If anyone wants we can create a new group and name it appropriately so we can all continue to be all one happy family. I apologize for having named the group the wrong way :(

Also congrats to everyone who has completed their POE and is now in the US!

CEAC status changed from ready to AP now back to "ready". :-( Thought it would go from AP to issued. Why back to "ready"?????

I think it means they are reviewing it and will make a decision soon? It's good they are working on it though. Mine hasn't been touched since interview :( AP just sucks

Waleikum Assalam. My fiance had his interview March 25 and they asked him a lot of questions about me and my family. They asked about my fiance and even asked why are we not getting married in Pakistan. Jawwad had to give the financial documents again because the guy interviewing my fiance didn't have them for some reason. So I dunno if this is the reason for AP or not but its getting close to two months and we haven't had any update at all. They didn't ask for anything else and the interview guy just said everything looks good but the case needs further review. So he got the white paper and left his passport with the embassy. Now just waiting for a result :( I have no idea what to expect ?

Congratulations on all the recent approvals! Guys, the mods mistakengly merged our AOS thread with the AOS thread for ppl who applied for AOS last year June (ie when we applied for our K1s) so would you all mind if we just keep this group going and discuss AOS issues as they come up? I was just thinking that we all would like to keep in touch somehow, just because we have a nice little group going and we have all been going through this from day 1. Let me know, othrwise we can try to create another thread and I promise to title it appropriately this time :)

There's still a couple of us waiting on approvals. maybe it would be better to make it a separate group and people can join it as they get to that stage? Can you try and make another group for AOS? Maybe we can call it something like June 2014 TSC filers in AOS 2015
