Hey guys I just wanted to let those who have arrived in the US a piece of advice. We are getting married this Friday and started to get the AOS paper work ready. Yesterday we went to get his SS card but noticed that the electronic I-94 only had my fiance's first name and 1 last name, not his complete name.

At the SS office, they wouldn't allow us to get a card because of this mistake. We were able to get it fixed by calling CBP, deferred action.

Guys, make sure the electronic I-94 has your complete name, or else your SS card will be incorrect and it will be a hassle later for the AOS. Just an advice.

Well it has certainly been a journey for us especially at this final stage, luckily it is almost over and he will be here very soon! http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/543051-dont-settle-for-ap-without-getting-a-congressman-involved/?p=7551867

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days
