Looks like things are moving along for everyone! I can't wait until next year when we finally are done with this madness! First drug test is scheduled for April 9. Maybe I should move over to a banned and waiting group LOL. . .

I can imagine how tough it is. one more year waiting ... wow...

But it shows how strong your two's love is. Hang in there! next year AOS still will be a waiting game, but at least you guys will be together. :) it'd be much easier.

Our interview date is April 2. Yay! He won't be here for his birthday, but Insha'Allah, a few weeks later. Congrats to all those recently approved!

Congratulations on the interview date, Christine!

You'll have to have a belated celebration together when he arrives :)

My fiance finally had his interview but he got the white paper saying administrative review. :/ anyone have any idea how long to expect this to take? I know is different for everyone but I'm just really hoping it won't take too long. My fiance did say that the person interviewing him said everything looked okay and he didn't want to see our evidence of relationship. Anyone else on here in AP?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! What happened at the interview that they would move to AP? Naqeeb also was wondering what he was asked and how it went. Can you send me a message? We will pray for your approval!

Yep. We'll just have to suck it up and do the best we can with this additional year long wait. But thanks for the encouragement!

This is normal with Pakistan. Ask your fiance to send you a copy of the the paper. Usually they will tell you what it is, as in the reason for the denial.

He showed me a picture but it only says AP. It doesn't say why or that we are missing anything. I'm kinda now thinking it's just a normal thing because he's a Pakistani male. Fingers crossed it will be okay though!

I hope everything for your fiance is going well! :)

Really? This is the first white paper I've heard about in the list of others who've gone to the embassy (not that there are many of us, but even in the CR-1s there aren't many mentioned over time). SIGH. I hope not. I hope it was just missing information that will be cleared up very quickly. And that we don't get one next week at our interview. 8/

It turns out I actually was mixing up the last two digits of my case number and NVC had in fact received my papers and already sent them to the embassy! The last four numbers are 2042 and somehow my tired and fried brain kept saying 2024 even though I've been saying these numbers for months already!!! Anyway my fiance's interview is April 2nd!!!! Everything is happening so fast now!

My appointment is april 7. Extremely excited!! I think the others are either busy spendig time with family. Or just rekindled with their loved ones. And busy with that ?

We are the last in the few in the bunch I think ??

I'm still waiting to hear but I guess it might be at least a couple weeks or so. My biggest fear is being stuck in this AP for months :/ I have no idea what to expect

I've been on hold with the NVC for 1 hr and 7 minutes lol. Just hoping to get some info. We got the email saying we were approved on Feb. 25th and on March 9th it was sent to the department of State for processing. I feel like one of the tin cans dragging behind everyone's wedding car lol. Glad to hear of all the approvals and weddings. So proud of all of us for doing this ourselves!

Huge pat on the back for us all!
