Congrats again to approvals! We received the note from the NVC, which, interestingly the email says will provide instructions, and yet the thing says "wait for instructions". God I hate this system. Wait continues. Hoping and praying that we all have approval and visas soon.

Texas service center had me resend my petition because they lost it.

They said they will expediate it to nvc

Are they going to waive the fee? They should! You also deserve transparency every step of the way, like daily updates on the status. I'm happy you are getting somewhere with this even though they should've admitted they lost it awhile ago...

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Had my interview this morning, it went well! The CO said he can't tell me over the counter if it's been approved, but he sees no problem with our case and I should get my passport back in a week :)

Congratulations to all the recent approvals! So very excited for you guys!

We are going for our interview next week! I am now in India visiting my fiance and getting all the papers ready. For the proof of continuing relationship specifically this is what I plan to include:

All of this is dated after June 2014 when our application was accepted

Flight info Aug/Sep 2014 and March 2015

Passport stamps for these visits

Photos taken during these visits (will be about 20 photos)

Contract with wedding officiant for our upcoming ceremony

Emails exchanged talking about wedding planning, (should I include here my emails with venues discussing options? or they only want to see the emails between us two?)

Whatsapp messages

Viber messages

Skype screenshots (showing date, time and length of calls and some messages exchanged on skype)

-for these, is it ok if I only include about 20 pages for each? We message each other almost everyday throughout the day so if I include everything it will be over a 100 pages. People here mentioned that too much is not always good.

Sounds like you have everything you need! My fiancé went alone and had a ton of evidence on him but the officer just skimmed through a few photos and didn't even look at everything else. I think she just skimmed through the photos as a formality because his interview was only 3 minutes tops. Better to have more than less, best of luck!

Hi guys,

It's been almost a month and NVC says they haven't received my case yet, is this normal?

USCIS says they sent my file over on February 11th, it is now March 4th.

Is the number I'm supposed to call: (603) 334-0700 ?

Can someone please tell me that it's normal that they haven't received my case yet? :-/ :-/

They renewed our petition agian

So what does it mean? Are they going to work on it all over again or they will forward it now to NVC? I hope you will have a smooth sailing now through the rest of the process.

We were on skype this morning (his night) talking and worrying about the fact that he hadn't yet received the email instructions from the Embassy...and...THERE THEY WERE!!! I saw 50 emotions cross his face all at once, ending in the most exquisite smile. He'll be up all night with the family in anticipation of the moment he can hand all the paperwork to a courier to deliver them. And I was able to see this moment because God gave us a snow day and I'm home from work.

OMG. Two steps left!!!!

They will expediate our new file to nvc now.

Hi,

Sorry about all the hard time y'all been facing. But when you mention NEW file it means you will have to send a new case (Everything again) and then they will just forward it to NVC (So automatic approval without a new adjudication)?

Hoping all the best for you guys!
