Hey! My interview is april 7th ?????????????

Soooo excited!

Not sure if any of you can help me with this. But I got a link to book the medical online. But it's making me choose between non immigrant visa and immigrant. Which one is this?

I though k1 was non immigrant and then it's switches to immigrant?

But I think I'm wrong. Because on CEAC we had to choose immigrant? So I'm guessing I have to choose immigrant?

Yeah, I am pretty sure it's "immigrant." I found it odd too. Congrats on getting your interview date!

Big week we had! received our case ready yesterday after almost 3 weeks! got packet 2 today! and send it back today! next week ill get my interview and medical date!!! almost done!! can't wait!

Thank you every one for your best wishes.

I will call uscis and request that they expediate since this was their error.

However, it wasnt posted on my account on uscis that it was found at the record center.

Im in deniel, would it be possible he lied to me? Im thinking about it too much. I hope its truthful.

Also, recieved an email thats obudsman also contacted uscis on my behalf... After i finally got my answer where my file located... I get an remail stating they are going to help.

Interview soon, how does it work with the affidavit of support? Do I need to bring it with me or does my fiancee fill it up back in the US and files it there?

Most embassies require an original, so your fiancee has to fill it out and send it to you. But check with your local embassy if a copy would be accepted. Aso your fiancee should send you copies of W2, three most recent tax returns, letter from employer, and recent paystubs. Good luck for your upcoming interview!

I was able to reschedule interview from 4/20 to 3/2! Our interview is now THIS Tuesday!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

I hope yours is faster. Trust me, the wait is brutal but once its done, its relieving and also understand the virtues of patience and is a true test of love. If you browse the website you will see that a few people cant handle the wait and fall apart in their relationships. I wish you the best of luck. Thanks, but sadly I do not think there is a chance in hell our wait is gonna be shorter - rather a risk of it getting even longer. Hence I'd be glad for the 8 months from application to visa in hand.

My fiancé visa was approved but not issued yet we booked gis ticket for March 18th so scared.he had tuff questions though after the questions they asked him to give our pictures together which he did. The lady said we all done then she gave him a paper saying that if your fiancée abuses you or whatever call this number. My fiance did not take the affidavit of support package cause they did not ask so she told him to bring the next day and drop his passport off.I almost cried when he said she didn't take his passport

Congrats to all the approvals this week! Our app now says "Ready" on CEAC but my fiancée hasn't received Packet 3 (and I still haven't received information from NVC).
