Why would CEAC say, "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section." when the NVC only shipped it to Guangzhou on Monday? Monday night it said it was at NVC, and then the next day it said READY. I can't even find any shipments to China from NVC this week. Does this have to do with Electronic processing? And why, if they say it was shipped Monday, are there no shipments from NVC to China yet this week?

I'm guessing that in many cases, NVC/Consular transfer is indeed electronically, since a lot of the cases have 1 day or less on the transfer (I just wish it were true for Pakistan). It's good to know that SOME areas of the world move from 19th century processing into at least 20th century once they leave the states! Glad to see you made it here, and I bet you get approved before we do. Good luck my friend.

APPROVED!!!!!!!! YAY!! I get to see her in 2 days! Flying out to germany to see her! Best of luck to all those who have interviews the rest of the week and thank you to everyone for your support. We need to start a Post- US arrival page thread for people in this batch!

Yes!! We should create a Post US Arrival Thread. This group has been beyond helpful and we can continue to help each other out.

Do they also send the physical documents (photos and many pages of documents) to the Consulate too?

Did they explain how it ended up there? What even is the national record center? Will they send it to NVC still or just send it to the embassy next? I'm so glad for you guys that they found your file though. I'm so very much hoping for you both that it gets sorted out and the embassy will recover the case soon.

National record center is where all files go for storage.

It was sent there by error.

They will send it back to texas then resend to nvc. Hopefully its a speedy journey.

Insha Allah. Since this is their royal screw up, they should really rush your case. It's great news that your case is back on track now and you can move forward with the process.

In my case Warsaw consulate received the whole original packet my fiance sent over to USCIS.

That is SUCH good news that they've located your file!!! If I were you, I'd be raising hell until they expedited the case. This was their error - see if they can fast track you. Praying the rest of your journey is quick and easy!!

Hey! My interview is april 7th ?????????????

Soooo excited!

Not sure if any of you can help me with this. But I got a link to book the medical online. But it's making me choose between non immigrant visa and immigrant. Which one is this?

I though k1 was non immigrant and then it's switches to immigrant?

But I think I'm wrong. Because on CEAC we had to choose immigrant? So I'm guessing I have to choose immigrant?

Thanks ?

What an excellent idea! It would be so helpful to have all the questions and answers in one place, instead of all over the website. I wish there was a guide on getting DL and SS#, it seems like every state does things differently and even in one state you are not guaranteed.
