So my fiance and I had been waiting to hear from the embassy about his interview. Being the impatient American, I decided to call the nvc tonight to see if an interview had been scheduled. Turn out it has been scheduled for MONDAY!

we're totally prepared material wise, but not mentally! We haven't even gotten the appointment letter.

Any advice? Can we reschedule or even show up without the letter?

You do need the interview appointment letter. Keep an eye out in the mail tomorrow. Who knows it might just pop up. It may not hurt to show up though, just make sure that you have your NVC case number with you and some form of ID, Passport, etc. See what happens. Best of luck to you!

Good luck to everyone for upcoming interviews! We were able to schedule ours for March 13th! I'm glad I get to be there, Mumbai doesn't allow me to attend but I'll be waiting outside. I can't tell if I'm more excited or nervous. We are still waiting on the PCC...

Praying for all to be approved!

Guys, I have a question,

For the Frankfurt Consulate, Packet 3 asks for my I-134 that I had sent my fiance, she had attached the orignal ones that I sent to her to it and mailed it in. She does not have any more copies of it, will she need to show it again even though she sent it all in already? Ps. The Consulate has been uber nice to her. She had sent out an email to them when we first got whiff that her Visa was enroute to the consulate from the NVC and told them that she wanted to get married by march 21st, they emailed her and also mailed her packet 3 the very next day and asked her to send it back asap, and opened up her ds160 form so she could get things rolling. Now her interview is in a couple of days and i am worried about the whole i-134 situation. Hopefully it wont be an issue as they already have that now .. Starting to get nervous ! :(

Here is the link to their requirements.

I do not see Frankfurt consulate being difficult at all. If she doesn't have a copy of I-134 you can scan it over to her and she can take the copy with her just in case.

Technically, if the I-134 has been sent, she shouldn't need it again. To ease your mind you can email her a scan again.

I believe, for the I-134, copies are accepted.

I feel you. Tell her to stop practicing questions. It doesn't make any sense. This only adds an additional stress. She doesn't know what questions she will be asked. She can practice day and night and believe me all her answers will come out different from the ones she practiced. Best of luck !!!

Good luck to all who have interviews this week! We're still waiting for NVC to send our stuff to the Consulate. My fiancee's already done his 160 and paid the fees, working on getting his medical appointment, so we're ahead of them. LOL I think he's trying to push them forward. :)
