Congrats on all the approvals and good luck to you all waiting for your interviews. Just a question though. I'm still waiting for the embassy to send pocket 3 to my fiance. We keep emailing them but still they haven't responded. Did anyone else have this issue? I'm still working on filling out the DS160. Do we have to complete that before we can get packet 3?

Our embassy took a few days to respond, they def won't be answering you right away. If there is a phone number, try calling. My fiance called to confirm some things with them and it was much quicker than waiting for an email. Also, some embassies don't send packet 3, it's more like an email with instructions

There's no phone number, just this online query request form. It's been over a week and still nothing. I was feeling like he should get an email with instructions on what to do next but he hasn't received an email or anything from embassy. I'm just really wanting things to keep moving along quickly now :/

I know this is really a stressful time for you but you guys are strong and your love will move mountains. Keep doing everything you have been doing, keeping in touch with congresspeople and bugging USCIS. Make noise!

I remember you mentioned your situation is a bit complicated because you are a national of another country living in Turkey so they are probably doing more checks. I understand this explanation does not help you much but I just want you guys to know that you are not doomed. Everything that is put in your way is something that you can overcome. This thread is in contact with a writer for the NY times and they are going to do a new story about K1 visa applicants. I think you should definitely share your story (they will change names to protect your privacy).
