Hiya!

Quick question my fiance has had his medical and submitted him application for readiness. When I go to check status using LND (NIV) I can get an update:

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at:http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html

But! when I check with his AA (IV) - which i'm guessing is the confirmation number he was given after the DS160 was filled out I get: NO STATUS

what gives folks?

So our papers still haven't reached Amsterdam... Its been a week. It usually takes about 3 days. Other that where sent later then mine have already arrived... I tried calling NVC yesterday to ask the date of shipment. Since it said in transit a week ago. And send an email to the embassy so far I've hear nothing backk.. This sucks

I did I found a few close to mine and all of them are already there (2 days later)

And there is one that still says it's only checked in at Boston on the second of February. Mine said in transit te 31st of jan.

So if that one is mine it's lost? Or I don't even know :(

i don't think so, have you tried e-mail your embassy? because after arriving at Rio consulate usually takes a week for them e-mail package 3. maybe could be the same at your consulate. By the way 31 was saturday, DHL had a pick up on FEB 4. I'm following feb 3 and has an Amstardam delivery on Friday 6, so maybe by the end of this week you gonna have some news. :)

I really really hope so. I did email them yesterday. Hoping to hear from them soon.

It's just seeing people get there packet 3 like 2/3 days after it has arrived. Has gotten me a little worried. It took my friend 5 days to get her packet 3 after nvc sent it out. ??

Ustraveldocs still wont allow me to see payment options to print the CGI receipt despite it saying that the visa is ready and at the consulate. I tried calling customer service and they told me to try again later. That was this morning and its still not working. Not sure what to do. Hoping it will either work or they will help me tomorrow.

Hi,

I am also using this website to book my appointment. I don't know what the problem might be but there should be an option for online chatting with one of their representatives. I presume you created your profile. When you log into your profile, click on visa information, next on the top bar hit contact us, scroll down to the bottom and there will be an icon for live support online. Click on that, put your email and the question and someone will start chatting with you. I hope you will have this option and they will be able to resolve your problem.

Edit: it's a consulate representative that you will be chatting to.

It's official. We have the passport and visa :idea::idea::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

I want to take this chance and thank you all for the support and help throughout all these months. I would have not survived with VJ, especially with this thread. People don't understand what we go through and there were so many times where I felt frustrated with my family and friends. But you guys understood, listened and supported me.

Thank you all so much for everything!!

CONGRATS!!!!!

Okay, to all the rest of you left here, I have a dumb question:

Where the heck is everyone tracking all the stuff that's going on post-NOA2? None of the threads actually say WHERE to get any information after you've been kicked out of the USCIS system, except "call NVC". I think I'm the only person alive who has no idea what to do next other than gather information to send to the fiancée.

You need to get your case # from NVC. Without that you can not track your case. Once you have your case number given to you by NVC, you can rack your case at:
