Oh Im so glad for you that you guys finally heard back from NVC and are getting some progress. Since this is their mistake and not yours, hopefully they will get it resolved quickly and make the rest of the process as easy for you as possible. Praying the best for you

Thanks Dohan! No idea what happens next! >.<

In a few days they will send your case over to NVC. That'll be your last update from uscis. And about a week or two (2 for me) after that you can call NVC for your case number. A couple days or so after that they will send the case to the embassy. After that the next steps kinda vary based on the embassy. But get ready to send your fiance the forms for the interview. Updated letter of intent and I-134 :)

Yep, need new date (close to the interview date) and fresh signatures. This signales to the "continuing relationship" portion and shows that you are still willing to go through with it. Silly but required.

If you are referrng to packets 3 and 4, check your regional forum or info about your embassy whether they issue them. Every embassy is different.

Given that My case just showed in transit on Friday, what do you guys think are the chances for a March 21st wedding coming true with her arriving in the US on March 15th? thats 5 weeks from now? She filled out the DS160 today and will hopefully schedule her medical for the next week? I know that the packet 3 and 4 are involved here, but dont know if she can go physically pick these packets up from the consulate and drop em off right after she has all the requirements for it?

It all depends on the embassy and how soon the contact petitioners and book interview dates. I don't think you can pick up Packet 3 or 4. And best case scenario that your visa is approved before that date, you have to take into account how fast the embassy actually gives back the passport with the visa. Look into your local forum for Germany k1 visa and find out how soon they move things along. My visa was approved on the 28 and since Monday it said ISSUED and we have yet to receive the actual passport.
