I can't believe yamens case still hasn't made it to the NVC :(

I know, my heart is absolutely broken for them. I wish we could do something :(

Big week we had! received our case ready yesterday after almost 3 weeks! got packet 2 today! and send it back today! next week ill get my interview and medical date!!! almost done!! can't wait!

Just got the NVC case number and Invoice Number! Yay! CEAC Says its at NVC! How much of a time frame is it before it leaves NVC? Any ideas?

Congrats on your case number! Typically stays at NVC for 3-4 days then it's shipped to your respective embassy :)

Every embassy is different, some tell you to do to the medical and all that before you fill DS 160. We had access to it as soon as we knew our case number and were advised to fill it out when we are ready to schedule the interview. You can start working on it now, it takes some time.

Tried calling the NVC number this morning around 8:30 a.m. to see if I can get my case number and the recording is saying that they are closed. Is today a holiday?

I just googled other posts. They are open from 7 a.m. through midnight E.S.T. Apparently they are closed today due to another sow storm. There has been a state of emergency declared for the state.

Yes, I did some more googling and it says that NH has a state of emergency until tomorrow. Ever since my petition arrived there on 1/22, I either can't get through or the office is closed and I can't get my case number. Sigh.... more waiting.

Yeah they are closed due to a storm. I live in New York and all the schools/government buildings are closed. It's pretty scary here

Yeah they are closed due to a storm. I live in New York and all the schools/government buildings are closed. It's pretty scary here

Lucky that you guys keep missing the storms! We're getting hammered here in NY. I can't imagine New Hampshire (where NVC is) being much better. Try again tomorrow - weather should be better then :)
