Emcia_81...Breath...Last week I felt a panic attack reading someone else's experience as well. But, each story is very different and you can't allow someone else's experience overcome you and your feelings. This is already stressful enough sweetie. God hasn't brought you this far to leave you hanging. Just relax and be yourselves. Your love for each other will shine through. You can't fake a real 5 year relationship. Let go and let God. It will all be OK. Hugs!!!!!!

Thanks hun :) Seems like I am reading exactly my Ronnie's words :) He is always calm and positive.

I know that but the consul may see it differently. I see loads of young Filipinas getting married to much older guys with 32 years age difference who saw each other only few times and get approved with no problem. Also the muppets on the "90 days Fiance show" . I have no clue how they are getting thru the interview phase so easily.

I didn't watch the show so I don't know if they are real couples but you can look up questions so you feel a bit more calm. They'll ask how you met, where he lives, his date of birth, what he does, might ask if your families have met. They probably will ask about the age difference but you know him well so you know it's just a small detail. From what I have read they ask stuff to make sure you know your fiance well, you've actually met and you are getting married because you're in love. I've heard some places ask what you love about your fiance. I totally understand you're nervous, I'm nervous on behalf of my man too because we haven't lived together and I haven't seen him since September, except for daily Skype lol so we are all nervous but hun just breathe and believe that true love will carry you through. Like the poster above said you have come this far. We are all rooting for you!

I emailed to a couple of mixed couples asking them for their experience. I looked at our embassy reviews and no one posted a negative feedback. Thanks for your kind words. I guess I am having a rough day!!

Don't panic. We all have our bad moments but I think it's important that you never lose your faith. The day of the interview just make sure you sound 100% positive of what your saying. You have a real relationship, believe that all will go well for you.

I was panicking like crazy because of the medical results being delivered a day before the interview.

I am so worried about my interview. I don't have a date yet but I was reading about red flags and non traditional marriages. My fiance is African American and is 15 years order. We have been with each other for 5 years and lived together for almost 2 years. I have a feeling that they will give me a hard time at the embassy. Poland is considered as a conservative country. Ohhhhh gosh I am panicking :(

I am African American. My fiance is a White African. We have not had any problems because of our race. Don't worry, you will be fine. For the record, my fiance didn't have any problems with my race when he went to the interview. It wasn't even discussed . . .

I think you're going to be just fine! I know it's not easy when we're in this situation and we have months and months to think, worry and especially read other posts on here that may not have the happiest of endings. But at the end of the day, you and your fiance have been together for YEARS, living together in the US - so many K1 filers have only met their fiances just once in person and get approval. (I mean, let's revisit 90 day fiance, shall we? LOL).

Anyway, just bring all your relationship proof and go in knowing that you love him, he loves you and I think you'll be just fine :)

And off topic, wouldn't it be interesting to see other US couples (meaning non-foreign relationships) go through half the trouble we go through to be with our fiances? I obviously understand why we have to go through it, and I'm more than happy to because after all this we get to be together forever. But I wonder how many "regular" American couples would still go through with weddings or jump into marriages if they had to go through even half the legal/government processes that we have to. Would make for an interesting social experiment.

I don't have any issue whit his skin tone or age difference. Not at all. If it bothered me obviously I wouldn't be with him. The only difference between Marocco and Poland is that Poland is mostly inhabitated by white folks and is considered as intollerant country. I hope your fiance's medical results will make it to his embassy and soon you will be together. Edited by emcia_81

oh no I dont doubt that. If anything like everyone else says, you have a really good chance, far better than most, to get your visa. Side note, a friend of mine who lived in Poland for a few year's playing pro basketball said he had a really good experience there. Said good things about Poland ?. . .

Thanks The Andies :) I will print out around 2000 emails and 2564 chat logs plus skype call logs and bring it with me to the embassy :) LOL Just kidding :) I am sure there is more than that :) i would have to bring a filing cabinet with me :)

I think watching this stupid show on youtube is making me only mad. Mohamad and Danielle's story is very bizarre and makes me think "if they made it thru the interview why wouldn't the embassy approve us"

Hey, there is an idea :) Making a show featuring US couples (non -foreign relationships) and international couples :) Only joking :) No shows for me!!!

Mohammed and Danielle's story is just...I have no words. NO WORDS. People have done their digging about them and came across so much dirt. Have no idea how they got approved.

And if you rolled up to your interview with a filing cabinet FILLED with evidence of your relationship, that would be SO FUNNY. They would just stamp your visa without question, just to get you out of there with all your proof

Poland can be considered as a conservative country, but all consulate people are Americans, right? So I don't see why they would give you a hard time, I guess you're just over thinking. You gonna be more than fine :)

I watched 2 seasons of that show, and this second season is so bad. Omg so much drama that doesn't exist. But that guy from Tunisia and his "wife" I guess even without the show manipulation would still be so weird and fake. anyway 1º season was a lot nicer.

Thanks for your kind words :) I lived in the US for almost 4 years in total and I met tons of intolerant people there, specially towards people of color. I do not generalize anyone but some people are racist no matter what positions they hold.

This muppet called her '' she is acceptable''!!!! I watched some bits and pieces but for some reason it made me upset. BTW Congrats on your approval :)

I watched few episodes this week, for the first time and after seeing Mohammed and Danielle I guess we're all will be approved even though we don't show up at the interview... LOL. Just kidding. But after seeing how fake they look like (Hopefully I am wrong) I was like: I have nothing to fear since EVERYBODY can see my relationship is so real and I have all the elements to prove it!!! I know we're all fine! :)
