I swear to God it's ridiculous

we have been waiting for 43 days, and today finally we could connect to one of USCIS supervisors and the it was a huge surprise to tell us that our case still there, they sent off the hard copy on December 5th to tell us that they sent our case to NVC.

they said wait for another 30 days for the delivery

f******

it's a huge mess

Oh no :( It hasn't even left USCIS yet? I'm so sorry. The only thing that is good (silver lining!) is that your file hasn't been lost, so there's that. Did they say they were going to ship it to NVC today?

Your case is still there?? That isn't right at all. Sounds like someone maybe made a mistake. And wait 30 days for it to be delivered to NVC? I could walk from TSC to NVC in less than 30 days. Come on now. USCIS is ridiculous. I think they owe you an expedite. So sorry you're going through another stressful time. Wishing the best for you and that you'll have an easy time after this all gets sorted out!

Soo how do know our case received by NVC?

Does our status change on the USCIS website. Or do we call the for that too?

I know we call them for the case number. But how does the case received work?

And Yamen i hope they will finally send your case! don't stop calling them! this is not okay :(

Someone on here told me that you will get a letter from NVC when the case is sent to the embassy and it will have the tracking number on there. I don't know if they will tell you when it gets to NVC. And you can wait for the letter or call ahead to get the info sooner. Most people say wait a week or two after they send it.

Your status will change on the USCIS website once they send it to the NVC (it will say something like "case sent to the department of state").

You will know your case has been received by NVC a few ways - after your NOA2 (and after it ships to NVC), wait roughly 2 weeks and call the NVC to see if it was received/if they have assigned it a case number. Note: the lines will be busy, you have to keep calling/redialing until you get through. Or you can wait until the USC petitioner receives a letter in the mail from them saying that they've shipped your case to your respective embassy which will have your case number/information on it. The letter will take a few weeks to receive.

So, best bet? Start calling the NVC in about two weeks to see if they've received your case/can give you your case number. If they haven't received it yet, they will give you a little speech about it taking 35 days to get there/process. Just keep calling daily until you receive the info you need.

Hope this helps! :)

That is so awful, my heart just breaks for you. Keep an eye on your status on the USCIS website, it'll update when they ship it to NVC. They didn't give you any reasoning? Even when talking to a tier 2? That's so unbelievable. I'm so sorry :(
