I received NOA2 December 11th, hardcopy came in the mail 12th. I check my case status and it's still showing case approved. How long will it take TSC to ship it to NVC please?

So they probably must have shipped it to NVC by now. I plan to call NVC today and find out if they've received it. Hopefully they will have good news for me.

Check your case status on USCIS. They will let you know when it has been sent to NVC. Then in about a week NVC should have it.

I called NVC last night around 11PM EST and was on hold for about 45 minutes (which I expected). Our case was shipped to NVC on 12/12 and they have no record of receiving it yet. The guy on the phone gave me the 35 day spiel, but I'll probaby just keep calling back every couple of days until I get our case number...

for us they shipped our case on Dec 5th and we haven't heard anything yet

my fiance wants to follow the protocol ant to wait 30 days as they mentioned, actually she tried to call them twice couple of days ago but the calls were in vain

waiting again :clock:

We had the same NOA2 date and my case is already at the embassy in my fiance's country. Keep calling, better to call at night I am sure your case is in route to the embassy as well. It is sent via DHL. Just keep hitting that redial button!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Based on Igor's list (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=3&option=3&sortby=2) it looks like they're processing applications from the mid-20s of June - so I'm sure you're just a few days off. Hopefully you'll hear something by next week! Keep us posted and don't be nervous! It's coming soon! :)

I don't think it's a bad idea to wait until you're back - I don't think much will be done over the holidays since Christmas Day & New Years Day are federal holidays. But if you are able to call via Skype, might be a good idea if you're eager to get your case number. I think the only reason people call is to get their case numbers sooner than when they arrive in the mail. Then the medicals can be booked (to my understanding) as soon as you have that case number.

Actually - super jealous, wish I were going to be in the UK for the holidays! I'm the petioner, so my fiance and I will be apart for one last holiday season. :(

Ohhhh I am sorry. We are also apart for the holidays, he is taking his mom and sister to Singapore and I'm flying to UK to be with a friend who needs my support. His mom and sister are very important and he is very very close with them so I'm glad he will spend the quality time with them and hopefully next year around this time we all can celebarate together.

I hope whereever you are for the holidays you still manage to create wonderful memories and have a good time
