Hi Dohan,

Thanks for your reply i didn't contact them yet since i was kind of afraid to be pushed back if you where pushing the system...

So far i don't think there are any red flags, over a year i've spend more then 4 months in company of my fiancé in the US, in my country (NL) and we did a holiday in colombia together.

I have a bunch of evidence in pictures, phone records, text messages, e-mails etc. etc.

So i don't think there are any red flags...

There is no harm in contacting USCIS and making some noise with your congressman/woman. Or asking for infopass, some people have found out that there were RFEs for them which they were never notified about.

Not knowing is the wrost feeling. I wrote a bunch of letters to various authorities and made a ruckus, I don't know if it helped but we got news after I started doing these things. It definitely made the time pass quicker and was great stress relief for sure!

Has anyone gotten a message about TLC show called "90 day fiance"? :) check this out http://www.tlc.com/tv-shows/90-day-fiance/photos/season-2-bios.htm......Ridiculous!!!

I watched the latest season of the show. It's awful. I mean, it's good TV because there are conflicts and so much drama and we can kinda relate to it. But it makes some of the couples look ridiculous. Take it from someone who works in the business, know that it takes a lot of editing magic to make good TV. There's also coaxing from producers - they'll ask questions that will start conflict (or at least attempt to).

The couples they use are ones that they think will cause the most drama and the show also poses the whole concept of a K1 like we don't know our fiances and that K1 holders are using the 90 days to get to know one another before deciding to get married. Which might be the case in some instances, but many of us have spent more than just a week with our fiances before getting engaged and entering this process.

Just keep in mind if you're entertaining the idea of auditioning for the show, you might not be portrayed as you really are.

That being said, I'll definitely be watching next season LOL

So our case has been saying "Ready" since January 9. I emailed the US consulate in Mumbai (the embassy is in Delhi) asking them for instructions and to send us packet 3 and 4, and they responded with some automatically generated email giving log in and password for http://www.ustraveldocs.com/. So useless.

For those of you whose embassies don't normally contact the beneficiary, what did you ask in the email to get them to send you the packets?

It's so frustrating to be so close and then to get a response that makes it clear they did not read your request.

HELL NO!!!! We are not interested in being on the show. I value my privacy and would never be a part of any of this cr*p. They hardly ever show the truth on this kinda reality shows. They ask you to do stuff to make it more controversial and make people look stupid.

I think I like better Bridezillas :)

I feel the same about other members. We are planning a small meetup once we all get there. You are more than welcome to join us :) I see that you got engaged in Greece, on the main land or one of the greek islands?

I absolutely HATE the show "90 Day Fiancé". It is such a poor portrayal of our K-1 journey. Like come on, you don't wait 90 days to marry, there's so many things that need to be processed before that 90 day time frame is up! I've only seen one couple on their that looked genuinely in love.

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)

Ah! Awesome, definitely keep me posted - that sounds like fun! :)

We got engaged on one of the islands, Kos to be exact. He surprised me for my birthday, which also happened to be Greek Easter and I'm half Greek, so it was a really amazing surprise!
