Some embassies are ok with employee's letters and paystubs. I will have EVERYTHING :) Just in case :)

Exactly, it is not a requirement for my embassy but I would like to be able to show I can support my fiancé if the question does come up.

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

Big week we had! received our case ready yesterday after almost 3 weeks! got packet 2 today! and send it back today! next week ill get my interview and medical date!!! almost done!! can't wait!

Just got off the phone with NVC, our case has been received!! No case number yet, I'll have to call again next week :) So if there's anyone else from TSC whose case got shipped on 29 Dec, call NVC early next week and you should have your case number too :)

Does anyone know anything about the CEAC website? Our case became "Ready" there on Jan.5th and once it became ready underneath they had these dates listed

For us our case initially said "Ready" on December 30th. Then it said Ready but case updated January 6th, then January 7th when they finally emailed us Packet 4. I also had emailed them a couple of times already. We never got Packet 3 just Packet 4 with our Interview Date.

Same exact thing with us. Same dates and same status updates. I assumed it was packet 3 being mailed to my fiance. Or since you've already had your medical, maybe it was them logging it into the system.

we had our medical today and the interview is on Monday. First we were quoted $60, then it was $150. Then today Imad goes in they want an additional $60 dollars and I blew a gasket! I told Imad to translate to the doctor I would put my foot in her ### if she asked for anymore money! So far we have spent about $700 preparation for the interview between the medical, transportation, and the visa fee itself. I'm just ready for this horrible experience to be over . . .

I've heard stories of the medical trying to milk people for money. Do they have a website which lists offical prices? This is unacceptable, they can't just keep changing prices every time, unless they are charging extra for new procedures? I know the number can rack up with each indivual procedure but this sounds a bit to steep...

A previous filer told me the medical in my country is $500 usd. I almost fainted. Not for nothing, but this process is very expensive.

I'm not sure. I'm half convinced that had I not intervene and threatened to throat punch the doctor. I have had it with Moroccans trying to scam, bribe, and trick us out our money anyway they can! I'm glad he balances me out being the calm, quiet one in this relationship . . .

Awwww! We want you here!! If you got an RFE, expect there to be a 3-4 week turnaround. Maybe less. Ours took about 3 weeks from when they received it until we got our NOA2. So you're not far away now!! Your in the home stretch! :)

I am able to see price info, places where I can have my medical, doctor's info on our embassy webpage. Also they have a live chat with embassy representatives and they are very helpful with any questions.
