At our embassy we can choose a date and the next available date is this Monday, but because I was unaware of this I am not prepared so I am thinking later on in the month or perhaps early Feb. Thank God I am on maternity leave and have some time to get everything in order haha

As far as I know it's the same here in Warsaw. I can book it online. I am waiting for my W-2 from last year and it will be issued before Jan 31st. The good thing is its almost over

I worked in DC for a year and on my W-2 is my fiance's address so I will be using this as a supporting document at the embassy. We are interracial couple and I read about red flags and other stuff so I am gathering all possible papers

Some embassies are ok with employee's letters and paystubs. I will have EVERYTHING Just in case

Oh I see what you mean, I just planned on having everything too and it didn't even occur to me that it's possible to have less stuff. I am self employed so my employment letter will say that I am employed as a consultant by my clients, I hope that's enough. Also not sure how long I will have to wait for my 1099's

all we know that we had to wait for 35 days, then they said for 60 days and some say it will be up to 90 days

it's odd and we have nothing to do

Wait --- it STILL hasn't been received by NVC? That's crazy. Are you sure it didn't go in for additional processing? Can anybody give you answers? You should still call every single day to see what the deal is. Ask to talk to a supervisor. Both at USCIS & NVC.

This is so awful, I wish we could do more to help you. But know you'll always get support and love from us to help get you through this!

might be a good time to get your congress representative involved, maybe they can help
