I see the same when I put my number but on top it says U.S Department of State, Immigrant Visa Application, At NVC and my case number. Once our case leaves for our embassies it will change from at nvc to in transient. It's all good nothing to worry about.

When do U think our fiancés will get the call from the consulate :/ ... Am so nervous am getting packet 3 ready .. The tax return says copy on it ( my sister will be our sponsor I don't make enough ) am stressing over the tax return papers .. I don't know how much evidence is enough when it comes to Skype and fb ughhh ..

I just noticed that each embassy handles K1 process differently. What works for me does not mean is applicable for you. First of all once my application leaves for Warsaw embassy I will be able to track it on DHL page as other members advised. After I see that it reached the embassy I will call to confirm with them ( US embassy in Warsaw never calls beneficiaries ). I will receive a letter from embassy with all their instructions as to medical appointment, interview and necessary documents. Also I do not need to send anything back to embassy and I am able to pick an interview date online. As I said each consulate follows this process variously. I would check with other Bosnian who has this procedure behind.

As to proofs I will print out our chats with different days (starting from the oldest one), I am trying to retrieve skype calls as well, pictures, boarding passes, any gifts receipts etc. I and my fiance enclosed enough of evidence in our packet to prove bona fide relationship so I won't carry too much.

Since your sister agreed to be your co-sponsor and your total income is above the poverty level you have nothing to stress about. Ask both of your employers for a letter stating your annual salary, include 10 recent pay stubs, W-2's or even a bank letter. Is one of you self-employed? If I am not mistaken you will need your tax return at time of interview ONLY if you or your co-sponsor is self-employed. Later on in AOS process you will defo need to provide your tax returns. Please other members share your opinions on this one.

Now that the holidays are officially over and everyone is back to work, here's hoping the NVC and embassies/consulates receive and process our cases quickly so 2015 starts off well!

I checked our status this morning and London has listed our status as "Ready" now, so yay! It's so crazy to think this process is actually rolling now after being stagnant for so many months at TSC! :)

Hi The Andies,

I am glad your case status has changed to ready :) Now it's just a matter of few weeks. Did you guys schedule your interview date or embassy will let you know by themself? The closer it gets to the end the more stressed I feel. I wish to be over!!!!

Happy New Year everyone!

You should definitely start calling if you don't hear something by tomorrow! You tracked your DHL shipment, right? Maybe with the holidays they need a day or two to start putting them in the system. Keep us posted!!

Thanks! :) The way it works with London (and I think it's the same for all embassies for K1 visas, but I'm not sure) is they schedule the interview for you after they've received your medical and the first round of paperwork. Andy's medical is on Monday afternoon, so I'm hoping they'll get those results by the end of next week. If we're lucky, maybe we'll know when the interview is by the end of the month or hopefully by February. All this not knowing when things will happen is the worst!!!

What's the process with Poland? Are you getting everything ready? It's so stressful, I agree! I cannot wait for this whole thing to be over and behind us too!

Does this mean it's SENT TO consulate ? It's been in Nvc only 3 days :)

The file will only be at NVC for a few days. When you check your case status at CEAC does it say "in transit"? If so, then yep, it's been sent :)

Quick update on my side (Hong Kong consulate). We checked our status on 12/27/14 and it said "Ready". On December 30th packet 3 was sent out from our consulate, and today on 1/5/15 we received packet 3.

In Poland we schedule our interview individually online. I am in the process of getting my papers ready. I just saw that my packet is sent off to the embassy :) yay. As far as I know I can schedule my medical overnight and so the interview. I am waiting for our W-2's and this probably will be issued by the end of this month.

Anyone knows what should I use for shipper's reference on DHL page? I tried EXP 05 JAN 2015A but it doesn't work. Thanks!

Thanks, it was my mistake, I had originally selected non-immigrant category. So it just says "at NVC," I guess for now we just get our other paperwork ready and wait for it to be sent to Mumbai. By the way Happy New Year everyone! I was travelling for work and haven't had the time to check the site, hope everyone had wonderful holidays and I wish you all an amazing year ahead!
