It varies. Some people's cases were sent the next day and some other's few days later. I guess they send it once a week or so.

I joined this thread exactly one month ago

until now we have no idea where our file is?

USCIS said they sent it off

NVC said they didn't receive it

I wish we didn't get our approval a month ago, it's the same F***** waiting

Just got a letter in the mail (dated 12/24) from NVC confirming they received our approved i-129F from USCIS, assigned a case number and sent it to the London embassy (it also listed our SRC # and our new LND #).

Not really telling me anything I didn't already know, but wanted to share the process along the way!

Our case status is STILL listed as "In Transit" on the CEAC website - and has been that way since 12/23. C'mon London, make it "ready" already!

Happy New Year everyone! 2015 is our year, we're on the home stretch now!! We're all getting married!!!!

ummm, that's very weird. Maybe it's just an error - did you search under immigrant visa?

sally&serif - when did they assign your case number? You might wanna call NVC and see what that means - or I think you can email them as well...

I called them the lady said its normal nothing to worry about just to wait until it get to the consulate .. I gues I wait now

As someone who has been in USCIS-NVC limbo for nearly 4 months now, I will give you some unsolicited advice:

1. e-mail nvcresearch@state.gov now and attach a copy of your NOA2. It will take them a month to reply to you (if they still haven't received your application by then).

2. The petitioner should put in a service request with USCIS, tier 2 person. If Tier 1 gives you some 90-day BS, just emphasize that the NOA2 said NVC should get it within 30 days. If USCIS Tier 1 still puts up a wall, just call back until you get someone useful.

3. If NVC still hasn't received your case by the end of next week, contact your congressional office for assistance.

TSC is usually good about sending files to NVC, while CSC is the one that messes up at that stage.

I see the same when I put my number but on top it says U.S Department of State, Immigrant Visa Application, At NVC and my case number. Once our case leaves for our embassies it will change from at nvc to in transient. It's all good nothing to worry about.

I really appreciate your help but it's going to drive us nuts when you say all the people of the same batch have got their issues done and we are waiting and waiting without any sign
