Hi VJ members,

Just wanted to give the latest update. On Wednesday I decided to call the NVC, even though our NOA2 was issued Feb. 28th :P To my surprise they said they had received the packet and were sending it off to the US Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya where my fiance is. So on Thursday I called the embassy and they had already received the packet from the NVC!!!!! My fiance Charloh went there this morning and picked it up and is now going to work on the forms. UNBELIEVABLE how fast things go once they reach NVC!

Met online 5/2000 on AOL

Continued long chats, phone calls,etc.

Feelings grew :)

Went to Nairobi, Kenya 9/05 for 3 weeks

Charloh proposed I accepted!

wow, thats realy fast! congrats! how did u met ur fiance? just curious coz i myself stayed for 10 years in kenya. wipi maisha? msalimie jamaa....lol..

ask him if its easy to get a police record... i ve sent a application through the kenya consulate here to nairobi.. hope they will send it soon, its now 1 month ago...
