How do you get it in the states, do they have Sky or something similar. If someone can point me in the right direction, I will owe you big time

You need Fox Soccer Channel - check with the local cable provider to make sure they offer it and get the package that has it!

Champions League is on ESPN though

i agree..dish and direct tv have packages..rugby??? but they have cricket so maybe they have rugby..

the cricket is crazy expensive though!

We wanted to get the Ashes on PPV (well, my husband did) and it was something like $100 for each test!

I think I saw an ad recently on my provider (Dish Network) for Six Nations Rugby on PPV - don't remember the cost.

I think you get blocked if you have an IP outside the UK - if you can figure out how to block your IP, you can probably get around (we have not really got our head around this)

I occasionally go to an English pub here in Santa And and they always have some sort of English soccer stuff on the TVs. I know they have satellite so will ask which service the next time I go in there.

Thanks to all, Jim if you can find out what channel your local pub has and let me know that will be great. And for the uninitiated, Rugby is the much harder version of the US "football" our players do not wear pads or whatever but just go in damned hard with no protection, mad but good

Definitely check out Setanta sports channel on Directv. If your husband can't survive without rugby then it's worth signing up with Directv just for that! Check out the link.....They cover all the rugby, premiership soccer, gaelic games (I always sign up for this season!),etc.

I'd double check on the football -- a colleague at work signed up to get all the Man U games and he said something about losing their right to show the games only 2 months into their contract

You will definitely get most premiereship games and fox soccer channel
