Does NVC Send Appointment Letter to the Petitioner?

I'm a K-1 petitioner for my fiance in the Philippines.

We have our interview appointment date set as 1/14/2015 and she took all her documents on the checklist to St Luke's for her medical.

But St. Luke's desk where they check documents before proceeding wouldn't allow her to do her medical with the emailed appointment letter. They wanted a letter hard mailed to her or me from NVC instead.

Was wondering how to get this letter mailed to me or how to check on the status of is.

I know this an older question but I would love to know the answer to this as well. I've read that it's now required to have this appointment letter to be able to get the medical started. And without it, you won't be allowed into the facility performing the medical.

Does the NVC mail the Petitioner a copy of the Appointment letter? And can a copy be requested from the NVC if needed?

Any help or feedback greatly appreciated.
