1111111, residente ENDERECO COMPLETO, venho atraves desta autorizar NOME DA PESSOA QUE VAI AO SAC, brasileiro (a), solteiro/casado (a), portador (a) do RG nro.

I just called the consulate TODAY in Rio, and they said it IS ALL THE WAY BACK UNTIL THE AGE 16!!! They had no explanation why it said 5 years. So, even if the consulate worker that I spoke to today is wrong, I would get them all just in case....because clearly no one knows exactly what they mean. But I will be sure to ask the consular who gives us our interview what the REAL truth about it is...and I'll get back to you. Andrea

I remember when I read my packet 3 I didn't have this doubt about 5 years or since 16. The way I read it it was clear they wanted since the age of 16.

Speaking of packet 3 - my fiance never received his. We downloaded the forms and he mailed a cover letter. Our packet was received with no problem because we have an interview set up.

Should I e-mail and request for packet 4 to be sent to him - he has yet to receive that and it has been 2 1/2 weeks? Or, does someone have an example of one so he can read it?

I believe we have everything we need but there could be information that could be pertinent to him.

Most of the cases I read about are of brasileiras, yet I know that brasileiros need their "army registration" (or something like that ;)) - which he has. So I wonder, is there anything else?

Thanks!
