BAH! They've been telling us here in the NC foothills all freakin week that today the world is going to end because we're gonna wake up to a snow storm.

Its completely bone dry out there. I'm more than just a little disappointed :P Same as always, reality doesn't live up to the hype.

We got our share of snow, maybe an inch yesterday. There were two big wrecks on the highway, 35 cars involved! :wacko:

We have snow here in Western NC. It always misses us so I wasn't holding my breath that we'd get it!

But we have several inches and it isn't supposed to stop!

I am at work though!

That is okay...better then being at home at the moment!

I'm very disappointed. They said we'd have 3-6 inches of snow today and we've got nothing so far. If I look out my office window I can see some clouds coming in so maybe it's just later getting here then they thought it would be. I live in the mountains of NC and it's worse in Charlotte right now then it is here. Hopefully it will make it up here. It would have been nice if it had gotten here earlier so I wouldn't have had to come to work. Oh well, at least maybe I'll get to leave early.

I live about 30 minutes from Boone. Where all the ski mountains are. It's just recently started snowing here. We don't even have an inch on the ground yet. It was putting it down pretty hard for a little while but now it's slacked off. Not sure if we'll make the 3-6 inch predictions at this rate.

I'm in North Alabama and we got about 1-2 inches, but of course where I go to school (Univ of Alabama in Huntsville) is open! I had an 8am aerobics class and the teacher didn't even show and I'm pretty annoyed. Although, UAH and Huntsville schools never close even when every other school system in North Alabama in closed. Bad luck for me, so many snow disappointments throughout my life :(
