My fiancè went to his interview yesterday and he said it went very well. He said he was approved. I asked him about details. She didnt say "you're approved" and he didn't ask. After interviewing him She said she had everything she needed and asked if he was registered with DHL.

Here's why I'm concerned. Before his interview, when he was called up the first time to hand them paperwork, he gave them my affidavit of support but not the joint sponsor. His reason was "they asked for my fiancee's I-134".

My kids dont live with me but they live with my ex husband. But I claim them on my taxes so that cut me short on poverty guidelines so I acquired a joint sponsor. During the interview she asked if my kids live with me and he told her no. So is it possible that she would approve him based on his verbal answer and decide that a joint sponsor wouldn't be necessary? He never told her he had papers from a joint sponsor.

This has kind of stolen the excitement from it all. Is it wise to keep check for email requesting more support? She took his phone number.

Congrats!

They only need joint sponsor, if they request it. When he handed in his peperwork the first time, they were reviewing his documents during his 2-3 hour wait for interview. Anything that they needed he would have been given a 221g. Or they asked for it.

Did he give them his passport? They did not officially tell my husband he was approved, they said, enjoy living in the midwest, it gets cold.
