I've travelled many times on a one way from Canada with no troubles.

I know for sure they won't let people from Europe with ESTA get in the airplane if you don't purchase a way back.

From other visas is different, not sure what you all have in Canada.

We are automatically given b1/b2 depending on our needs. We get our visa at POE essentially

Ok. In this case it happened because you had the ticked purchased.

I will attach my I-94 so you can see. I just screenshot it.

You can see it says I left July from North Carolina ( my flight was supposed to be Atlanta, North Carolina, Spain )

That's why I was saying to not worry it happens to everybody. They should fix it. But they know about it already so they won't think you left and came back illegally or whatever :)

I will, situation similar to yours, came just to visit plans changed and we got married.

I have my interview next January I will be sharing how it goes :)

Hey guys, I have a question and would appreciate your help!

On January 8th I arrived in the US on a K1 visa. I also booked a return flight for February 3rd, but only because a roundtrip ticket was less than half the price and I couldn't afford a one-way-ticket. I never intended to use my return flight. But now, my I-94 Travel History says that I left the country on Feb 3rd but I didn't. Will that be a problem in the upcoming AOS process? Will they even deny AOS because of a mistake by the airline? I'm really worried now ...

It is much to early for you to be worrying about denials, etc.

But, since you have plenty of time, you can be working on getting the official

record changed regarding your (non)departure.

I don't know how to get the change started, but some googling and help from

others here should put you on the track.

August 25, 2017 BIO completed. 32 days since ROC received in VSC.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

I came to the US on a K1 visa on December 6th, 2014. I had a Delta roundtrip ticket just like you because it was cheaper. The return date was May 20th, 2015. I have read many horror stories here on Visajourney about people getting their AOS denied because their I-94 said they left. So I called Delta and cancelled my return ticket last week to avoid any possible trouble. I am very glad I did so.

You will have to include the printout of your most recent eletronic I-94 in your AOS package, so I suggest you to contact a CBP Deferred Inspection Office to inquire about correcting the I-94 record. I wouldn't risk a denial from USCIS.

OMG mine says the same! It says I left on the day I was supposed to go back to my country. But I stayed and last week sent the AOS packet. Hope this won't affect my AOS.

DAY 84 - May 26, 2015: We mailed your EAD to the address you gave us/USPS picked up the Card

DAY 85 - May 27, 2015: Interview Scheduled for June 29, 2015.

** May 29: Traveled with my AP back to my country and came back three weeks after with no problems Click here to ready the report **

DAY 117 - June 29, 2015: Had our interview. Approved on the spot.

DAY 124 - July 6, 2015: Welcome noticed received.

DAY 134 - July 16, 2015: Green Card delivered to my home by USPS - END OF AOS -
