Happy Thursday everyone. Ok, who is freezing? Who needs coffee/croissants (Doodle, I imagine you fall into this category) Everyone's feet and hands doing ok (T4E, Jackie, this means you.) Glad to hear the cable is back on at MBPs...what a nightmare.

I can't sleep! My back hurts. Everytime I get a massage, I spend the next 4-5 days in pain. It feels like all the kinks that the massage therapist got out are coming back! :crying:

 Happy Thursday  I am off today, yahoooooo! I have 2 houses to measure then I am free. Oh #######, I just realized something, the first house, someone lives in so the heat will be on. The second house is new construction and NO HEAT! (Chicago is like 10 degrees this morning!) It might be the fastest measure in history.

Mohammed took my son-in-law to look at a new car last night while Jessica and Lexy visited with me. We had so much fun. We made pancakes (lexy's favorite) and tea. The guys came home with a 2007 Altima.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone!! Tried to go to work today, but with all the slipping and sliding I decided to come home and take leave. We got several inches of snowlast night and I am expecting the power to go later on today as more sleet and ice fall. UUGGGGHHHHH!!!! I have no idea why I ever left Miami where it is in the 80's today. My daughter was so excited about the snow. It's the first time she has seen snow and I now have snowballs in my freezer. lol. Anyone have some hot chocolate????

I worked until 12:30am last night/this morning (i'm so confused). I can't keep this up or I'm gonna collapse. I am drinking a vitamin water to try to get a boost but it ain't doin' it so I'm gonna need more coffee. Well we decided to go with the K-3 after all. I feel like I keep flip floppin'. lol. Now I have to figure out how to fill those forms out. ugh. I hate forms.

maggie - awww....I'll take a croissant! :luv:

Jenn - yes I posted a link about it in yesterday's thread. I personally don't think they should prosecute the guys who set it there but I do think whoever authorized them to do it should go to jail AND pay a fine. What I don't get is, with any advertising don't you need to get a license and pay a fee? I know just when we have yard sales we are not allowed to post signs on trees and stuff so we have to tape a sign to a car and park it near a major street. Didn't know we had superheros though.

brnidokiegurl and rahma - hope your warm up soon!!!!

jackie - I want a new car now toooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How's the foot?

Janine - Are you packed? lol. I think I was packed a week before I left. Cake for breakfast sounds yummy!!!!

patiently waiting - I don't know why you didn't stay in Miami either!!! What were you thinking??????

mandolin - That sucks bigtime hon. (F)

chris - I don't think I've ever seen a dryer winter here in Boston but I'm grateful because I hate paying the plowguy!

Hope I caught everyone. I'm soooooooooooooo tired!!!!! :(

no snow here... just more rain and 45 now getting up to 56 later - so they say... yummy dinner last night of (Carrie, this was for you!) chicken & rice w/ vegetables. Our farmer's market here has a guy who sells this locally grown rice that is soooo good - brown jasmine rice - and i cooked it in vegetable broth w/ a few strands of saffron. chicken was w/ a tiny bit of butter and some lemon pepper. veggies were cooked sorta tagine style but in a skillet - tomatoes, onion, garlic, parsley, peppers and preserved lemon w/ some moroccan seasonings! DEELISH!
