I requested an expedite through nvc but that's what I received:

To provide the most expeditious service to all applicants, the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad will try to accelerate appointments for documentarily complete cases and schedule them at the earliest opportunity. The applicant and/or petitioner should provide all required documentation to the National Visa Center (NVC) as soon as possible. Please note that it is not possible to adjudicate your case until all missing documentation has been submitted.

That's what u get everytime. I'm pregnant and I'm gonna deliver in 3 months and will be facing financial hardship on too of that my husband is in Iraq and we all know how that is.

What else an I do to expedite? Nvc took 2 and half months to review and send a checklist I'm so stressed plz help

Is there anything else I can do

Its been a year since submitting I-130 and were still in two different countries :sleepy:

Email BOTH the embassy and NVC and ask them to review again, asking if they need further information, won't hurt. Follow up with a phone call to the embassy as well and stress the urgency of your situation.

I feel for you! Best of luck.

I am from Iraq too. And My husband was IN Mosul. Everything was soo horrible and he had to leave because it was very dangerous.

I requested them to expedite and they did not they told me the same exact thing. And I was getting checklist after checklist and was freaking out.

I had to wait for NVC to Complete my case and they sent it right away to Baghdad and after 2 weeks I got an email of my interview date.

when you talk with a supervisor via telephone,

suggest to ask for 'fast review' and see what the supervisor tells you.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
