It's now 5 weeks since my interview, and I have not seen any change on the online USCIS status nor received any notice of oath in the mail. I'm getting so anxious about it. When is a good time to "check" on it? Does anyone know? My field office is Des Moines, Iowa.

What was the response after your interview? Were you approved, told to submit further documents, or was there anything that you were told would be looked into? If not, your IO would have told you basically to wait for approximately 60 days. Normally you get your date before the 60 days but it depends on your field office and how they schedule oath ceremonies.

I was approved, the IO gave me the "congratulations" letter, and was told to wait for the oath notice, and that I need to bring that oath notice with me at the oath taking. He did tell me to wait between 1 month to 1.5 months. Thank you for your reply, I think I am resigned to waiting until the holidays are over.

I looked at the threads but it seems there's not a lot in the same field office, in 2014 anyway. I am thinking the holidays is putting a damper on the timeline given to me by the IO so I will not think about this anymore until after the new year. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
