Hello everybody. I was just wondering if anyone has received there packet 4 from Santo Domingo recently? My fiance received a 1 page letter informing of our interview date and time. Is that the packet 4? Is this what he takes to have his medical done? I thought that inside would be instructions, and different colored papers for the interview? Can someone please let me know.

Thank you!?

When my fiancé got Packet 4, I thought it would be a PACKET. I think it was just 2 pieces of paper. That appointment letter is what he brings to the medical interview and the day of the interview. I also emailed the embassy and told them we never got it and they emailed it to me the same day.

I was the petitioner here in the US. I received a letter from the embassy with one page in it. I emailed it to my fiancee because at that time he had not received anything. He called the embassy and they mailed him his packet. His packet was about four pages. So just keep calling and email the embassy.

They will either send it by email or regular mail.

Ok I will do that. What number did you call?

He called the old number and emailed the old email address before they started making all these new changes.

I think the number is different now and so is the contact email address.

Sorry I can't tell you anything different. It's all a big mess now since they are changing things. Just keep trying to call the new numbers and the email the new email address and see what happens. Good Fortune to you and I pray that everything works out for you real soon.

It's Spanish at the top and English on the bottom. I also received a copy of the same letter today in the mail and on the bottom it says packet 4.

That letter is packet 4, the others pages that sometimes people get are instructions about what you can bring to the consulate and what no.

The important letter is the one you got, with appoinment date, with that letter he goes to do the medical and go to the interview.

If your interview is on january maybe you are going to use the new system for the process.

Ok thank you very much.

I red on the embassy page that all visas on january 1 , 2015 all kind visas need the new process.

So you need e-mail or call to the consulate and be sure if your fiance need all the new process.

Yes i will have to call them because I hope we will not have to do anything different since our appointment is already scheduled.
