I received my NOA2 on October 31 and still not heard from NVC - my first question is whether this is normal? I have no way of knowing whether they received my case.

I have been trying to call NVC and their line is LITERALLY always busy. I am using the number (603) 334-0700. Does anyone have any advice on how to get through to them? and if not can you tell me whether it's conncering that I haven't heard from them with an NOA date of October 31? They should have my e-mail on file as USCIS did.

Thanks

You can use the get human web application or you will just have to keep calling until the line does not ring busy. It's taken me up to 40 tries to get through.

Our NOA2 was the 25th of September and we didn't hear from them at all; we've had to initiate all contact with them. Our case was received there a month later and a case number was assigned a few weeks after that.

You have the correct number, but echoing the above post, you'll need to keep hitting redial until your call connects and gets added to the queue. They're open from 7:00am to 12:00am EST. It's much easier to get through in the evening just before they close. If you do manage to get through, be sure to ask for your case number and invoice identification number if they have assigned one to you, rather than waiting for them to send you your welcome letter and first packet of instructions. We didn't receive ours at all. We only got our case number through persistence that was borderline harassment.

I didn't find out anything from NVC. I had to email the embassy to find out that my case was sent there and arrived. Emailed NVC and never heard anything back from them. So to answer your question as to if it's normal, I'd say yes.

NOA2: November 3rd
Case received by embassy: December 10th

Thanks guys. . . just as an update, I e-mailed NVC on December 6th asking for the status of my case and got my case number and IIN today (Dec 11) via e-mail! I received the e-mail from NVCinquiry, but i'm not sure whether this is a coincidence and they were emailing me my case # anyway or actually responded in a timely manner to my asking for my case number but either way, I've got it and moving on. Thanks for the information.

It took me all day to contact them via phone, it was busy every time. My wife and I were trying all day through skype off and on to reach them and finally got through at 10pm, sat 45 on hold after to finally get to talk to someone. All of this to ask why i got an email stating all my supporting documents were missing and to find out it was because the system sends out an automated email after a few days because their system is so backlogged. So stupid and such a stressful day all for nothing.

NVC is a joke at best, attempting to reach them requires serious patience. I would suggest calling at exactly 7 A.M. their time. I usually ended up getting through with perhaps 10 minutes on hold at most when I called at 7.01.

redial redial redial... I always got through. Its not hard. Be persistent Sometimes it would take me 10 tries, sometimes 40. My best days were when I called from work with my high tech desk phone. My cell was much slower to redial. I used to call 3 times a day. A few times I would call exactly when they opened and I only had to dial once and never got put on hold to listen to that annoying message.

My question to you is: you've never dealt with any government entity before? This is par for the course. Someone said they called 40 times.

Hi @amandalane102

i've used viber apps on my phone. to make a call last 8th Dec., using the Viber Out Call, and purchased $4.99 one time only using my credit card which is link on my itunes.

it took me 18x Redial, then it went through but put on hold for 40mins. and spoke to a nice representative named Dawn, ask some details about me (im the beneficiary) then told me about my MNL case# and when it was sent off. thats all very quick.

i even got the chance to video taped our conversation, ? just in case i've missed some info. bcoz too excited sometimes body n mind dont comprehend?

Goodluck everyone,?
