On a more serious note, in my dealings with Canadian banks, I've yet to see one that took their CS seriously. I'm not surprised that Scotiabank is garbage as well...

I never had a problem with TD. Ever. I switched when I was married for the first time. Always had a positive experience.

In Quebec I think it's mostly Haitians and people from Ivory Coast.

Wow. Cashing a legit check. I am sure the bank looked at my dad crazy the other day. He just deposited a check for $60,000. Glad he wasn't arrested. I am sure they were suspicious however. People should just leave other people alone and follow procedure.
