Hi guys,

I haven't been able to post anything since we left the Philippines cause we've been extremely busy settling down. We got our EAD card first week of september and I heard that it takes 3 months from the date of receiving your EAD to receive another notification for the next step. I'm just wondering how to track it cause it's been more than 3 months and I feel like it's taking forever for them to send us notice. I just wanna know where we're at, in this journey that way it would give us heads up of what to expect. I'm also getting worried cause I heard some AOS applicants got denied, I never thought it could happen. Please send me a link or any advice.

Thanks,

Nizel

You can go to: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Enter your receipt number and you can view your current status and when the last update was made.

You can also create an account and enter a phone and email so that you can get notifications when your case gets updated.

Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

As of August 20, 2014, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC1491395782, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your interview notice by September 19, 2014, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I Already called yesterday, couldn't really talk to representative, they used to have like tier 2 number but now it's gone, so All info I got is the same as the one they posted on the site when I checked our status. I guess can't do anything else but wait for the notice. Hopefully we get it soon.

We are on the sema boat, out status says the same since Oct 20. That just means that the interview hasn't been scheduled and it could be weeks or months before they do so, status will remain the same until after the interview once a decision has been made, just be patient and wait for the letter notice of your interview.
