Hellos VJ members,

I received a 2nd checklist today, I missed one document, Police Certificate (Peruvian - Certificado de Antedentes Judiciales a Nivel Nacional). My wife got it this morning and I will mail a copy to the NVC today so that it arrives tomorrow. My question is, it does say to give the NVC 60 days to review the document BUT in anyone else's experience, has it taken less time? Is there any hope that it might be 2-4 weeks?

Also, totally different question, how do I put my timeline in my signature?

Thank you!

The NVC have only just received our documents so I can't comment from experience, but from what I've seen in other threads and posts, they are taking nigh on the full 60 days to review checklists.

This spreadsheet maintained by VJ user Saylin shows some cases that have submitted checklist responses and when they received case completes;

To add your timeline in your signature, go to your profile, click "edit my profile" under your picture and then click "signature". You'll need to manually input it, unless there's some other way of importing your timeline that I don't know of yet. Hope that helps.

The Timeline is varied for the document processing.

I believe that the month being December we can surely count out a week in which any documents may be processed.

The generalised reply one gets at the NVC is of a waiting period of 60 days and that is standard, however, looking at a few recent posts on document processing it can be assumed that the process is done within a 40 to 55 days window.

Good luck to you and hopefully you get your CC soon. Am stuck on a checklist too with my 60 days getting over in the end of december so am hoping mine is done earlier than expected also.
