Hello guys! I really need your help.

My fiance and I are kind of freaking out already..

I had my interview last December 4 and i think it went well. The consul didnt even look for proof of relationship and the guy from the last window told me to just wait for the text from 2go.

Based from what I've read from some blogs in this site, i could check my status from the ceac site and should expect that my status will turn in to either ready, AP or issued. When i checked my status from the non-immigrant section using my alien number (from my ds-160), i only saw "no status".

I also checked the immigrant section where i used my MNL (from the NVC), and saw "ready", i mean "ready" as in ready to be interviewd. Its been like that for 5 days. We first thought that it was just because of the typhoon. Its been a week already... The waiting part is just killing us.. Can someone give us any advice or insights on what might have happened to my visa/passport and what can we do about it? Thanks in advance!

You're right at the point in your visajourney it is going to take a lot of patience. keep in mind that the embassy was closed for a few days because of the typhoon but at this point in time you need to be on CEAC and 2go and follow your visa there. Your status will change a number of times from AP to ready to AP and then possibly at that point you'll probably see issued.

no one can predict when you'll have your visa but just be patient and you'll have it soon good luck

You had your interview on the 4th, the embassy was closed the 6th, 7th and 8th.... and you wondering why there is no status update yet. Patience....

I had my interview Nov. 12 and just got my visa yesterday, Dec. 11. No 221g, everything complete and approved, yet took almost a month. Status issued since night of interview date,.changed to ready twice (Nov.25 and Nov.28) then issued Dec.3 and Dec.5 last update. Be patient. It will happen soon.

Sorry if i might seem a bit of impatient to you guys. Actually, my only concern is why my status havent even changed to AP just yet (not even once) and not because of not having my passport on hand. :-)

Im actually confused as well whether i shoud check my status under the immigrant or nonimmigrant section on the ceac site.

It is normal to not get any status updates for a week or so post interview, and the days it was closed were unexpected days of closure, so they probably got backed up a bit because of it.

I know the waiting sucks, but I don't see any sign here that anything has gone wrong with your case. It is just a matter of some more waiting.

Everything looks perfectly normal from what I can see. Keep tracking on ustraveldocs for updates. When you see the status keep changing from READY to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING and perhaps back again, that is a sign it made it to the top of the pile and is being worked on.

Once you see ISSUED, you are about a week or so away from having it in your hands.
