My fiance and I received an RFE last week because we forgot to fill out one question on the I 129F.

While reviewing the whole package for any other mistakes we found out that we put in 2 different adresses for my foreign fiancee. One is wrong (page 2) and the other is correct (page 4).

What shall we do now? Shall we correct the whole package and sent it back, not just the one page I got an RFE for ( i forgot to answer in the criminal record section page 5 i think)

How important is it to answer all questions with "none" and "N/A"??

Does it matter if I leave " Spouse 1" blank? Or should I write "N/A"?

A big thank you to everybody who tries to help!

What was the original RFE for? Can you please fill out your timeline.

The instructions for the i-129f state that "if an item is not applicable or the answer is "none", leave the space blank"

There are slightly different instructions for the G235a form, for one section it says "if none so state" but the rest can be left blank if not applicable.

I would personally be inclined to correct all errors before returning the form.

Good luck! :)

Eh, I would ask VJ what is their experience with changing forms without prompting. To me it is in the same boat as correcting information on an already signed immigration document. Information on the documents is already in processing and those handling your case only have authorization to change what is included in the RFE, nothing more. Considering the square-like mentality of the USCIS and Immigration officals in general, I would err on the side of caution and only answer questions that are asked. You can call USCIS and they will correct mistakes on your documents. I noticed incorrect information on my I-129F so I called and had them fix it. They have to follow protocol.

Call them.
