We received an email this mng that said, my husband the sponsor didn't send a AOS form for my daughter, they only got one for me. Now bare in mind that we have already sent Nvc the IV supporting documents & have already filled out the IV applications for both of us My daughter & i and All fees r paid. So it's kinda strange that we got this checklist email, cause we sent both AOS forms at the same time bk in August .

In October we received a checklist also from Nvc to correct the errors that was on my AOS form, we did and sent it rite bk to NVC.

My questions are:

Didn't they notice my daughter's error in October also, when they noticed mine, didn't they see that an AOS form wasn't submitted for her ? ( although we sent it since August)

If they didn't received an AOS form for my daughter, how were we able to move to another stage of the summery, filling out the IV application, by paying the IV fees by sending supporting documents, how were we able to do all of that?

And to add insult to injury, I called NVC this mng was speaking with the operator (didn't get her name) we were going bk and forth and wasn't getting anywhere, so I asked her can I speak to ur supervisor? She said concerning, I said this same issue, the next thing I heard in my ear was a robotic voice saying "GOOD BYE" and the phone cut off. I sat there and I cried cause it hurt.

My husband has been serving in the USARMY for the past 18years & counting, and this is the kind of gratitude we get????? Smh

Is that how NVC operates??

This thing we going through is very stressful. I would have never thought NEVER. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel and you are going to come out of this flawless and strong. When I was at your stage I didn't even know I had to do a AOS for my stepson. They don't consider your AOS and your daughter AOS together. Its completely separate not to the very end they will put everything together. Hang in there its just a test. Even with my wife interview less then a month away I feel like am on my last leg.

Honestly get your husband to call. At times like this, when it is too much for you, because of the way you've been treated, that's why he's there.

Also always make a note of what the operator's name is. If you get them again, hang up first and call back for someone different. If you do get to speak to a supervisor, make a complaint.

NLR, I do that, I normally make a note of the operators name but she was speaking really low, kept asking her to speak up so I didn't. My husband would call from time to time we take turns, he is frustrated at this point and the amount of mins. NVC would normally have us on hold for is more that is patience allow. But not me I would sit on that phone forever if that's what it takes :) . Yes I intend to make a complaint if I ever get to speak to a supervisor.
