I was never spanked growing up. Mel spanks his son. I don't really like that. It makes me worry about if we ever have kids- I don't want them spanked.

I am not against spanking, but I think it depends on the child and the behavior.

We do not spank. We use alternative methods which for us, work very well and our daughter is definately NOT a brat because of our decision. Spanking is a personal choice. I am, however, not in favour of it. Just MHO of course. :)

Yes, I believe in spanking.

I wasn't spanked much as a child, but I definitely should have been, and would have been if I'd been my own child!!!!!

i was spanked as well as my 4 brothers and sisters as a child and we all turned out ok. none of us has ever been in trouble.

i spanked my daughter and she is a good girl and ive never had problems with her ever.

so yes its ok to spank. spanking and beating are totally different things
