ok - it's too late to handle it now -

but

if'n you put 2 eyebolts into your ceiling line, 180 degrees apart,

then

bungee cable into eye hooks, length of bungee only 0.5 inches less than 'full-feet on ground' distance,

then you can know some peace, the cat can get some exercise. See ? All inhabitants handled.

He just knows your sick atm. Push him off.

Just about stepped on mine this morning as he flopped down in the dark under my damn feet. So I shoved him in the basement, with his litterbox, for about 10 mins and he was perfectly happy to go back to laying on the bed with hubs after that.
