This medication requires two people to take it, si man. Otherwise, it would be called solodeine, see ma'am.

Miu, ma'am! Story/history please, miu ma'am.

Dunno much story. Went to the Dumb Friends League looking for a kitten, which apparently was super popular. Hubs saw this guy and we liked that he seemed laid back and relaxed. I saw two other cats I would have looked at but one didn't do well in a multiple cat home, and the other, despite being relaxed and playful in the kennel is apparently a freakazoid and you need counselling to even see the thing. ooookkkk then.

I think this guy was surrendered on the 23rd because the owner had an issue with a landlord (so they say anyhow) and we were the only ones to look at him. I'm sure someone else would have eventually. He likes the house, plays a little bit, mostly is relaxed and lays around when not sniffing or rubbing his head on EVERYTHING (or licking his butt.) Hasn't used the litterbox yet which worries me a little. If we move rooms, he moves rooms and lays down. LOL His name is Skittles and he was only $10. So hubs said "I was planning on paying $100 so make it $100." So they got a $90 donation. And then I went and bought a kennel, bed, some little toys, a litter box, litter, littler mat, litter genie. and treats. $10 cat has become a $300 cat after donation. They gave us some food so I'll buy a bigger bag maybe tomorrow.

Bet. Niki, I'll take the Walter country.....

Stretch, you can get the Arkansas mock toe for the hillbilly......

LOLOL

i slept from midnight to six! no waking up to have a coughing fit every half an hour. six whole hours of uninterrupted sleep! woohoo!

YAY

Kiddo is sleeping. She leaves tomorrow. Her dad was pissed because we got a cat and I said to her, well you guys should maybe get you a cat and if you do get a cat you can find one that likes dogs, that would be a good idea. Because your dad's girlfriend has the two dogs.

I planned on talking to him about it but because she was so excited over hubs cat she talked to him already and he's like to me "don't put ideas like that to her". Well she told him I said that a cat for them is a great idea. Which is what she heard, so I clarified with her, and let him know that he DID promise her a cat if she could look after herself at home and what I actually said. He's all "well I know what I promised" and I'm just thinking "then stop being a fucktard like you usually are and just get your child a pet already."

Her own pet, not just some puppies that come and stay every other weekend, would be wonderful for her. An indoor cat is easy to look after.

Figured out the cat keeps licking his butt cause he was neutered 3 days ago. LOL

I don't really like how they let you interact with animals there though. What I like the most is how the Red Deer SPCA does it. Most of the cats, unless they hate other cats, are released into a big room every day for exercise and socialization. It has things to climb on and play with etc. Or just sleep. Then you can go in there and play with ALL the cats until you find one that you get along with. They have separate rooms you can go into for more personal time, but being in an unfamiliar room is stressful (just like the first time home is) so you don't get the same interaction when it's an adult cat. Kittens are more easily adopted because they are less likely to be stressed out and show their true personality.

I oughta go get neutered and see if Tiff will lick it :D

Well they do say you need 10 assisted ejacs afterwards. LOL

A pet would do her a world of good being an only child.

I mean, look what happened to um...

To....Um.....who's an only child here?

I didn't meet my brothers until I was 16, so basically an only child. I had pets, but the one downside to getting a teen a pet is that when they go away to college, you are stuck taking care of the pet. My daughter for all time will only be allowed the guinea pigs. Cats and dogs are messy and huge commitments, plus I am allergic to the ones with fur, so there are only 10 breeds of dogs or so to choose from and I don't want to walk a dog.

I got my dog around that age, but she bounced between my parents while I was away at school (she barked through no bark collars and she was evicted from my apartment). I took good care of her, but, honestly at that age friends and boys were way better companions.

My daughter is only 11 and a cat, not a kitten, would be more than fine. Likely she will go to college in her hometown as well. I wish she'd go somewhere else, but the chances of that are slim knowing her father. His parents were dumb. "Hey go to school in town and we'll pay for it all and give you free room and board. But expand your horizons and go to school OUT of town and you pay for everything your damn self."

thankfully, don't have to deal with those people anymore. YAYAYAY!
