And all last night I had to listen to my mother lecture me about how I'm spending too much on the baby and how she just had a few used things for me.

:ranting::ranting: WTH, it isn't like we are getting a $800 crib or fancy designer clothes or something.

Then, the crib I picked out was too dark and don't you know cribs are supposed to be bright primary colors? Have you even seen one like that in the last 20 years? Pretty much all of them are wood colored or white.

I think this just goes back to the "Nola is never good enough" issue we have - I don't let my kid run enough in the house, I don't entertain her every waking minute like I'm a circus clown, and despite the fact that she eats much healthier than I did, I'm still not doing enough to feed her healthy food.

Hand to longer hurts. I think I iced it enough to prevent anything too horrid.

I hope my boss remembers she gave me today off.

Kiddo asked me last night when I was making her clean up what was left of the kitchen "why do I have to?" To which I replied, "because I cooked, already did most of the cleaning and I can't put my hand in hot water right now!" "Oh okay..." and she cleaned while I put food away. No more complaints and even took a dish away that I started to wash. :)

She sewed me a wheat bag for xmas. It's so well done!

Hubs apologized for not doing more for Christmas. :)

But as always, this one is a personal choice. From what I've personally experienced, breastfeeding is cheaper and easier but there are no negative and are some positive to bottle feeding. When my kiddo did get a bottle, it was rtf because that was the easiest option.

On train to Manhattan.....

Almost on the road to Winnipeg. Don't ask me why but I'm nervous about using the greencard for the first out of country trip. They checked my husband's I551 in his passport when we went to the Virgin Islands, but it isn't quite the same.

Formerly prior to 1954, Manhattan is new York city. Brooklyn, queens,Bronx, Staten island was not. We still refer to Manhattan as "the city".

It has its nice areas and bad areas. It's only 2 miles wide and 7 miles long.

Harlem, is in Manhattan. As well as wall street, times square, central park, the UN etc... Gonna lose signal now, on Manhattan bridge going back in the hole.

Not giving her or you a hard time some ppl really don't realize you can drink and breastfeed. Your body metabolizes it just as it does in the blood. So if your OK to drive your OK to BF. Does that make sense?

ya, i wanted to write something about this last night, but was worried that Steve would discover that I know as much about BF as you do. The body is a natural filter - except for pot and meth and crack - that stuff gets into the bloodstream and stays there, with some bad side-effects for any BF'ing child.

I'm still kicking myself for not using the video option on my camera to catch the Tornado rather then just snapping pics. She was so excited it was priceless. She ran around screaming Santa came, Santa came, did that running into her brothers and sister's room waking them all up telling them Santa came come look!

omg - that's so 'this decade' for technology usage - I am impressed, and even more impressed you might possess decent gear !

Lawl pretty sure my PC is more than up to spec for VJ considering it handles the top games at the highest resolutions just fine.

If ya say what ya mean instead of beating around a bush, it's easier to be understood. Just my personal opinion of course. :)
