That is why I LOL when people talk on here about how desperate they are to be together and how everything is going to be cupcakes and unicorns when it happens.

Lovely Christmas morning and put together a Playmobil mansion with the kid. Playmobil needs to make stuff that is easier for kids to assemble, like legos. She tried on her skis, but there isn't enough snow outside and the Dane is grouting (yes, it has taken that long).

Dinner last night was super yummy steaks, potatoes, and broccoli. Tonight is turkey, potatoes, and some other stuff.

Oh I knew it wasn't going to be rainbows and fluffy pink bunnies. I did live with someone for 9.5 years before hubs. I just remember when just being together was happiness, and while I like it, I think he feels obligated and like I'm up his butt all the time. Another reason for my own car! And I need to get out of the house more and do something. Rather like distance makes the heart grow fonder or something like that. Prolly why he liked talking to his family like his mom. He hasn't seen her in over a year. After a week he'd be ready to leave and he knows it lol.

Kiddo is really happy with her presents and I love that she's been here.

Sometimes I sympathize with her. As she grows older, I think she realizes that she faces difficult times ahead. I wonder if she regrets marrying Gump. But apparently not. I mean, she had a second child with him right?

She is the oldest and the first to get married. She sees her 2 younger sisters both doing better. Even the one in a poorer country is doing better than her. And the youngest is working in Singapore now and making a decent wage.

It's gotta be a pretty crappy feeling.

I mean love aside. You have to be able to live right?

She knows what she did, and she knows how bad her kid is but some ppl just don't know how to fix it so they keep on making the same mistakes.

I'd feel bad for her. Can't you just set rules for your house and enforce them without being the bad guy. Start small you seemed to be able to make him stop without too much fuss as you did earlier if you kept it up he would start to figure out he must behave at your place.
